After more than 22 year of shroud making it is time for me to move on. I want to introduce you to two wonderful women, the new owners of Bellacouche.

After a period of training and transfer of admin. Anna (left) and Yssy (right) are ready to take up their tools and work magic with their hands and minds. I am completely thrilled to be leaving the work to these two capable and wise women. I feel humbled by how quickly they have picked up the work of making the Leafcocoons in all it’s forms, and I am completely confident that they are the right and best of people to continue and improve what Bellacouche has become known for; making soft, gentle, ecological alternatives to mainstream coffins, whether for burial, natural burial or cremation.

It has been such an honour to work with them over the last few weeks and months, and it’s also been fun! I may appear in future weeks and months as a ‘guest’ blogger on this site, but for now, I am leaving space for Yssy and Anna to introduce themselves.
